Dance: Discover the Rhythm of Your Being

In Casa Barco School of Arts, dance is more than graceful movements; it is the art of connecting body and soul in a symphony of emotions and expressions. With each step, our children and young people explore their physical and emotional potential, developing a unique connection with themselves and the world around them.

Dance is a powerful tool for physical and mental development. Through rhythm and harmony, they strengthen body control, coordination, balance, and spatial awareness. But it goes beyond, nurturing their psychomotor skills, concentration, musical ear, memory, and discipline. In each class, we foster deep emotional maturity. Creative movements allow them to express and channel their emotions, strengthening their self-esteem and confidence. Additionally, they learn to work in teams, cooperate, and develop a positive attitude towards exploring their individual and collective identity. It’s a journey of self-discovery and empowerment through the art of dance.

Music: Tune Your Soul with the Universe of Sounds

Music is the universal language that connects hearts and minds, and in our Foundation, it is the vehicle that drives the integral development of our children and adolescents.

Through its melodies and rhythms, music stimulates memory, attention, and concentration, opening doors to communication and body expression. In our classes, we don’t just teach notes and chords; we also promote problem-solving through rhythmic patterns. Each beat is an opportunity to develop critical thinking and find creative solutions to challenges.  The freedom to explore through music awakens the creativity and imagination of our students, filling them with self-confidence and tools for socializing and collaborating in teams. It’s a sonic journey that helps them discover the transformative power of music in their lives.

Art: Paint Your Inner and Outer World

In Casa Barco School of Arts, art is a means to explore and express emotions, improving communication with oneself and others. Through painting, our children and young people learn to channel their emotions, strengthening their self-esteem and social skills with the support of our team of professionals in artistic and psychological pedagogy. Our art classes are a space to foster creativity and imagination while encouraging the development of their own judgment, concentration, and coordination. Additionally, they learn about history and values through effort and dedication in their artistic activities, enriching all aspects of their lives. They paint their lives with vibrant colors and deep emotions!

Thanks to our strategic alliance with the Fundación Universitaria del Área Andina in Valledupar, we offer a unique space in their computer facilities. Here, we provide advanced students in the arts the opportunity to immerse themselves in the fascinating world of digital illustration.

From day one, we provide them with state-of-the-art technological tools and knowledge for their personal and professional development. We guide them through the process of evolution and the productive cycle of digital art, preparing them to face the real world with confidence and advanced technical skills. In this area, our students have fun, learn, and create wonderful digital artworks from their imagination. Each stroke, color, and detail becomes a unique expression of their creativity, allowing them to explore and expand their artistic abilities in the digital world in an exciting and meaningful way. They turn their creativity into high-impact and innovative digital art.
